SDS : First participation of Morocco in the World Corporate Golf Challenge

In partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Board, the Saidia Development Company (Société de Développement de Saidia -SDS) hosted a qualifying stage of the "World Corporate Golf Challenge" world tournament, from 12 to 14 June 2015 at the SaïdiaMed Golf course. This is the first time that Morocco has participated in this world golfing championship.

SAPST : “HQE Aménagement” certification maintained

Having pioneered the HQE Aménagement (HQE Development) in Morocco and abroad in 2013, and after successfully maintaining certification in 2014, Taghazout Bay once again won its bet on a second follow-up audit conducted on 10/11 June 2015 by an auditor appointed by Cerway, after which the scope of the certification was expanded to Unit 2 of the development.

CGI : The CDVM approves the information memorandum concerning the Public Withdrawal Offer (PWO)

On 4 June 2015 the CDVM approved the prospectus regarding the mandatory PWO for CGI shares on the initiative of CDG Développement.

As a reminder, this operation to delist CGI trading on the Casablanca stock exchange was approved by the board of CGI on 22 October 2014 after consideration of the request from the Minister of the Economy and Finance. Accordingly, the same day the board of CDG Développement decided to launch a Public Withdrawal Offer (PWO) regarding all CGI shareholdings not held by CDG Développement and by CDG.

SAZ : Signature of an agreement for NIF with FDA

Co-financing by the French Development Agency (FDA) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the Zenata Development Company (Société d'aménagement de Zenata - SAZ) enabled the approval of a grant from the European Commission, its management delegated to the FDA.

MEDZ : Participation in the Gartner Summit

As part of its commercial action plan and its efforts to promote Moroccan offshoring, the MEDZ subsidiary of CDG Group took part in the Sourcing and Vendor Relationship Strategic Summit on 1-2 June 2015 in London.

FIPAR Holding sign an agreement with Bel Group on the divestment of FIPAR Holding’s entire stake in the Safilait company

On 28 May 2015, Fipar-Holding and Sopar signed an agreement with the Bel Group for the divestment of their 69.82% stake in Safilait. The Kettani family, represented by the Yasfi company, retains a 30.18% stake in Safilait. 

The agreement is subject to various conditions, including approval by the Competition Council and the ruling of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance for the stake held by Fipar Holding. The parties expect to obtain those agreements during the third quarter of 2015.

SDS : Partner in the 4th Oriental Legend Pro Am Golf Tournament

Saïdia Golf Club hosted the 4th Oriental Legend Pro Am Golf Tournament between 22-25 May 2015. At this event, organized by Mr. Abdelatif Benazzi in partnership with the SDS, 18 Moroccan and overseas players participated in the tournament.

The event took place over two days and was marked by the presence of many personalities from the worlds of sport, the arts and the media, including the well-known journalist and writer Patrick Poivre d’Arvor.
