Casa Anfa
Flagship project of the CDG, Casa Anfa, located on the historic site of the former airport of the same name, is an open urban development project that redevelops the heart of Casablanca over an overall land area of over 350 hectares.
The ambitious scope of this project is to provide a new modern urban centre in Casablanca and reposition the city internationally as a new dynamic business centre.
Development of Casa Anfa will be through a set of districts built around a vast network of green spaces, including a city park of 50 hectares, and total building area will cover approximately 4.5 million m² dedicated to homes, offices, shops, hotels and facilities for education, health, culture, sport and recreation.
The project will also host the new elegant business district of Casablanca Finance City, the future international financial centre of Casablanca.
Access to the site will be provided by new roads linked to the city’s highway network, as well as by a network of comprehensive and efficient public transport services, including the tramway and projected subway. Already, the first tramway line, in service since late 2012, traverses the project serving it through several stations. The project also gives importance to alternative modes of transport to the car and provides a network of green routes for pedestrians and cyclists. Ultimately, Casa Anfa will house a population of nearly 100,000 inhabitants will welcome nearly 100,000 workers.
